Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez prove they remain amicable after their split after they were spotted having dinner together over the weekend, a report says.

Earlier this month, Lopez and Rodriguez announced that they have ended their two-year engagement, saying in a statement that they realized they were "better as friends." On Friday night, the ex-lovers met up at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles for a meal, just over a week after the breakup announcement, Page Six reported, citing unnamed sources.

Eyewitnesses saw Lopez and the former MLB star at the luxury hotel where they went on their first date in 2017. The singer also owns a $28 million mansion in the neighborhood, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The exes' sighting comes shortly after the 51-year-old actress finished filming her upcoming movie, "Shotgun Wedding," where she is set to star opposite Josh Duhamel, in the Dominican Republic.

Reports earlier said their split came after the former New York Yankees player, who was linked to “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy while he was with the singer, broke the pop diva's trust.

"Once her trust is broken, there's no turning around," an unnamed source told E! News of Lopez. "She feels good about her decision because she knows A.Rod will still be in her life, just in a different capacity."

However, at the time, the insider said Lopez did not want to see her ex-fiancé and would be staying in Los Angeles for a while. The source further claimed that Rodriguez respected her wishes, but he had "high hopes that they will get back together."

It's unclear if Lopez will consider getting back with Rodriguez in the future, but multiple unnamed sources told People that she feels she can no longer trust him.

"[Lopez] insisted on it. There are too many issues that are unresolved," the source told the outlet of their split. "She has been pretty miserable and didn't think it was in her best interests to stay with Alex."

Rodriguez and Lopez's split first made headlines in March. However, they reconciled shortly after he flew to the Dominican Republic and spent a weekend in the Caribbean with her. They were even photographed packing on the PDA in their balcony at the time.

Weeks later, however, Lopez and Rodriguez released a joint statement confirming their separation. But the statement suggested that they will continue to work together and support each other in their shared business ventures and projects.
