The Duggars can’t help but celebrate their newest bride-to-be. Days after Joy-Anna Duggar announced her engagement to longtime friend Austin Forysth, “Counting On” star Jessa Seewald released a congratulatory video for her little sister.

“We’re super excited for ya’ll getting engaged and we’re looking forward to the big day, your wedding day!” Jessa said in a YouTube video alongside her husband, Ben Seewald.

While their sons, Spurgeon, 1, and Henry, 1 month, didn’t say anything in the clip, Jessa made it clear both boys were happy about the prospect of gaining another family member. “The little boys say congratulations too. We’re happy to have another uncle!” Jessa said on their behalf.

Joy’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, also posted a video about their 19-year-old daughter’s engagement.

In the video, Jim Bob recounted his and Michelle’s first date and expressed his belief in the importance of religion in a marriage. “Austin, we’re so excited about having you in the family buddy. We’re just really really are thankful and really looking forward to the future,” Michelle added.

Joy-Anna and Austin announced their engagement on March 3. Austin proposed after going on a chaperoned horseback riding adventure. “Austin made this day really, really special,” Joy said in a TLC.com video, showing off her engagement ring.

“I knew we were ready for this next step because everything fell into place,” Austin said. “Everything was just perfect.”

Now that they’re engaged, the couple has changed up their courtship rules and are holding hands. Joy and Austin have not yet announced a wedding date.
