Jana Duggar and Jessa Seewald didn’t always get along as children and it appears their personalities still continue to clash on occasion. A sneak peek of Tuesday’s “Counting On” shows the siblings going head-to-head over plans to renovate their parents’ guest house.

The previous episode of the TLC series followed Jana, 26, as she roped in a majority of her 19 siblings to re-do the guest house ahead of her sister Jill Dillard’s return from her mission trip in Central America. And while Jessa, 23, was not present for the first half of the renovation, she’ll make an appearance in Season 2, episode 9.

A promo for “Jessa’s Announcement” shows Jessa giving her two cents about how the family should decorate a certain room in the home and Jana making it known she doesn’t agree.

“I just don’t think it has any connection to the rest of the house,” Jessa complains as Jana places a clock on an accent wall. While Joy-Anna Duggar agrees with Jessa, Jana stands strong in her belief.

“There’s a disagreement,” Jana comments. “I like random.”

“I like order,” Jessa counters. Joy breaks up the tension by telling her sisters, “Get your boxing gloves out, guys.”

This isn’t the first time Jessa and Jana have butted heads. In the 2014 memoir “Growing Up Duggar: It’s All About Relationships,” Jana revealed that she and Jessa had difficulty getting along in their younger years. Jana describes their fights in the book (more on that here) and says she was advised to kill Jessa with kindness.

Jana’s twin, John-David Duggar, explained his sister’s feud in an episode of “Counting On” in March, telling the cameras that Jana’s “outgoing” and “rowdy” personality caused her to clash with Jessa as children.

“I think as I started to get a little bit older, I also had a very strong personality so I would sometimes protest the ideas that she had. She’d be like we’re going to do this, and I’d be like, ‘No we’re not,’” Jessa said. “We clashed heads a little bit when we were younger; but now that we’re older, we work together well.”

Jana and Jessa’s disagreement is far from the biggest even of the upcoming episode, though. The installment will show Jill, Derick and Israel Dillard’s return to Arkansas, the aftermath of Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo’s engagement (watch it above!) and Jessa and Ben Seewald’s big pregnancy reveal.

While “Counting On” viewers learned Jessa and Ben were expecting baby No. 2 in August, the Duggar family will learn about the pregnancy for the first time in episode 9. After inviting the Duggars over for an ice-cream social, Ben will gift Jessa’s dad, Jim Bob Duggar, the above photo, which will reveal their son Spurgeon is going to be a big brother.

Catch the next “Counting On” Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
