JoJo Siwa has explained why she was noticeably absent from Saturday night's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

"A lot of you have been asking me why I'm not at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards tonight, and the answer is very simple, I wasn't invited," JoJo revealed in a 14-second clip she posted on her Instagram page Saturday. "I'm not sure why, but I just didn't get an invite."

The 18-year-old singer also shared an Instagram Story, saying someone had tagged her and told her that her song "One Chance" was played during the award show. JoJo let out a laugh and said, "They used my song 'One Chance' but still I didn't get an invite. My song made it, but I didn't."

JoJo's celebrity friends took to the comments section and offered their support to the teen star.

"Their loss sweetness," wrote Olivia Jade, while Mollee Gray commented, "probably cuz you are the color of the rainbow and they're just orange."

"Beverly Hills 90210" star and fellow "Dancing With The Stars" alum Brian Austin Green also showed support to JoJo and said, "F*** the kids choice awards. You are too good for them."

The actress and YouTube star spoke against the network in September last year and claimed that Nickelodeon was preventing her to use certain songs from her film "The J Team" in her "D.R.E.A.M. The Tour."

"I go out on tour in January. My movie musical was just released (with 6 new original songs)… Nickelodeon told me today that I'm not allowed to perform/add any of the songs from the film into my show," she said in a series of now-deleted tweets. "These are MY songs, MY voice, MY writing. Does this seem fair???"

"There is no reason that this music should not be included," JoJo said in another tweet. "Working for a company as a real human being treated as only a brand is fun until it's not."
