ABC has released the trailer for the upcoming courtroom comedy series "Judge Steve Harvey."

The one-hour show features Harvey taking on the role of a "judge" and resolving small and big disputes in the courtroom. The 64-year-old TV presenter will release his verdict based on his life experiences and common sense.

The show is set to premiere on Jan. 4, 2022.

The trailer opens to a voice-over announcing, "All Rise for the honorable Judge Steve Harvey," before the TV presenter enters with a huge smile on his face amid cheers from the crowd in the "courtroom."

"It's always good to come to court when you can't lose," Harvey addresses the crowd. He then goes on to say, "In my courtroom, I speak the truth."

The trailer also showed a preview of one of the first "cases" in the courtroom.

Harvey can be seen asking a participant, "Tell me what's the business arrangement" and the woman replies, "It's pretty much us communicating via Instagram and back."

He then quipped, "Are you sliding in his DM? The whole truth and nothing but the truth."

The show deals with "real-life people with real-life conflicts ranging from family disputes, unpaid bets, sour friendships and everything in between," according to the official description of the show, TVLine reported.

"With the help of Nancy, his trusted bailiff by trade, Steve plays by his own rules, basing his courtroom on his own life experiences and some good old common sense," the description read.

"Judge Steve Harvey" is produced by Den of Thieves in association with Walt Disney Television's newly formed alternative unit. Steve Harvey, Brandon Williams, Den of Thieves' Jesse Ignjatovic, Evan Prager, Jared Morell and showrunner Myeshia Mizuno will serve as the show's executive producers.

Harvey also hosts "Celebrity Family Feud," which airs on ABC, and the syndicated daytime show "Family Feud."

Harvey impressed his fans last month when he tweeted a photo of himself sporting a blue jacket and leather pants.

It sparked a wave of memes on social media.

One fan added some "Avengers" weapons to the photo, while another fan added an image of his wife and the animated character Red Sonic.
