It's going to take a bit more than two episodes to get fans used to the new "Siesta Key" -- a.k.a the "Siesta Key" without Alex Kompothecras.

Before the premiere of the second half of Season 3 episodes, MTV revealed that they had fired the show's bad boy for past racist social media posts.

"We’ve made the decision to cut ties with Alex and are editing the current season to minimize his presence," a spokesperson said in a statement on June 16. "He will not be in future seasons of 'Siesta Key.'"

Fans have certainly noticed the difference of an Alex-free show, but how do his former co-stars feel about it? Most of them seem to support the decision, including his ex-girlfriend and narrator of the reality series, Juliette Porter.

During a guest appearance on the "Chicks In The Office" podcast, the 22-year-old commented that she was baffled that people actually seemed to disagree with the network's decision.

"I have a lot of—I don't want to say racist followers—but a lot of people are really upset with him leaving. People love a villain," she revealed, according to Us Weekly. "It's not even subtle racism. It was, like, blatant racism."

Kelsey Owens, who also stopped by the podcast added, "There are so many people saying they want him back and I’m like, 'Do you understand why he’s gone?'"

"MTV definitely made the right decision on cutting him," the model said.

Their costar Madisson Hauburg also gave her opinion on the topic in a roundabout way.

"I think he can [change] and I think he will. If he and Alyssa [Salerno] don’t work out, then they don’t work out, but he’s still going to be a good dad," she explained to the outlet. "Whether or not he changes his relationship ways, I don’t know, but it will change him either way."

Alex hasn't commented on his firing but it seems Madisson might be on to something because the most recent photo shared to the law student's Instagram is a series of photos and videos of his newborn baby girl Alessi.

"The most incredible moment of my life... Is when I met you..." he captioned the post.
