Kendall Jenner appeared on the cover of Vogue’s latest issue, which prompted Justin Bieber to praise the Victoria’s Secret model on social media. However, his move to congratulate Jenner was only to make his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, reports said Monday.

Bieber shared Jenner’s Vogue cover photo on Instagram Monday calling her “beautiful.”

Bieber and Gomez were rumored to have rekindled their romance after the 23-year-old attended the Canadian singer’s concert in Los Angeles last Wednesday. However, the two did not address the rumors. Some reports also said that Bieber ignored Gomez at Sunday’s iHeartRadio Awards.

The former couple likes playing mind games with each other, because of which they do not prefer to get back together, Hollywood Life reported Monday.

“They keep playing mind games with each other because they both want to wear the pants when it comes to a relationship. As much as they want things to happen with each other again, it’s easier to play these games. It seems to be something they enjoy even more than having a normal relationship with each other. This will only continue between the two,” a source told Hollywood Life.
