Kanye West on Friday announced the launch of a North American swing dubbed “The Yeezus Tour,” which will take the rapper across 23 cities over seven weeks.

The tour will kick off Oct. 19 in Seattle, and West will be performing in cities including Oakland, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Denver, Detroit, Boston, New York, Washington, Miami and Dallas.

According to Rolling Stone, Kendrick Lamar will open for West on a majority of the dates.

This is the first time West is hitting the road since 2011's “Watch the Throne” tour with Jay Z, who incidentally announced his own "Magna Carter World Tour" dates the same day.

While on the road, West will have Kim Kardashian and baby North West to keep him company, as a source close to the family told the Daily Mail that West is eager for them to join him.

“Kanye wants her to be with him on tour,” the source said, adding that Kardashian will join her boyfriend for at least a part of the tour.

"Yes, it's true," another source told Us Weekly. "This was always the plan."

But, an earlier Radar Online report suggested that Kardashian was of two minds on whether to join West on his tour, as she was “contractually obliged” to stay in town so as not to disrupt the filming of the family’s reality show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

Kardashian has largely remained out of public eye since giving birth to baby North on June 15, and according to Radar Online, this is an attempt to bring her back into the spotlight.

“Ever since she had baby North she’s been trying to conform to what Kanye wants, like staying out of the public eye and getting a makeover to look more glamorous, and she likes the results," an insider told the magazine. “Kim realizes that what Kanye wants for her is to move up a social ladder that she’s anxious to climb, and by doing what he says she believes she will reach another level of fame."
