  • Kanye West has been spotted out and about with Brazilian model Juliana Nalú multiple times in recent weeks
  • The rapper currently followers her on Instagram
  • West and Nalú have not confirmed if they're dating

Kanye West seems to be back in the dating scene as he's been spotted with a new girl by his side in recent weeks.

On Sunday night, the 45-year-old rapper-turned-designer was seen with a mystery woman, who Page Six identified as 24-year-old model Juliana Nalú.

The pair were seen buying a pair of tickets for the film "Triangle Sadness," which is directed by Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund, at a movie theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles, TMZ reported.

In photos published by the outlet, the model sported one of West's designs, a "2024" hat, to match her black-and-white ensemble.

But this wasn't the first time that the two have been spotted out together in California. On Thursday, they were seen checking into a hotel together in Beverly Hills. They also had a luxurious Italian dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on Saturday night.

West and Nalú have not confirmed if they are in a relationship. However, their sightings seemed to have piqued the curiosity of fans when it comes to the rapper's new muse.

Here are some facts about Nalú fans may want to know.

1. She's from Brazil

Nalú is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She lived there with her mom and her brother Douglas before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a globally-known model, according to an exclusive interview with Latina magazine.

But Nalú frequently returns to her homeland, with the latest trip being over the summer.

"I love the fact that when [I am] in Brazil [I] can just be [my]self," she told Latina magazine. "You don't have the pressure of wanting to be something or be someone specific. My family always motivates me. So I am free to be whomever I want or whatever I want."

2. She's starred in a L'Oreal campaign and appeared in fashion week

At 18, Nalú was chosen to be part of a L'Oreal Paris Brazil campaign, and soon after, she signed with a modeling agency.

While visiting Los Angeles a year later in 2017, she signed with Elite Models, which she credits with making her feel "comfortable" and representing her Afro-Brazilian "identity" well, according to her Latina magazine profile.

She recently appeared in her first fashion week show when she walked for 6PM in Milan, Italy.

Nalú is currently signed to multiple agencies, including Mix Models, MGM Models and Elite Model Management, according to her Instagram bio.

3. She was separated from her family during the pandemic

In early 2020, when the pandemic first hit, Nalú got stuck in the U.S. while she was applying for different modeling stints. It was only in January this year that she was able to reunite with her family in Brazil after travel restrictions were eased.

"In the favelas, we don't need much to be happy. I was in tears during my last trip to Brazil. You can see the minimal and simple ways my people live. Simplicity is everything, and everyone is warm," Nalú shared when asked about how she felt during the reunion with her loved ones.

She added that she got to eat her mom's home-cooked feijoada — a dish made of black beans, meat, rice, cassava flour, vegetables and grains — which she'd missed.

"I would be at the beach every day. I remember playing in the street with my friends [until late]. Brazil is more about that freedom and having fun," she said of her childhood.

Nalú is now mainly based in Los Angeles.

4. She hopes to inspire other Afro-Brazilians who want to enter the fashion industry

In her Latina interview, Nalú said she hopes to open doors for other Afro-Brazilians who also want to pursue a career in the fashion and modeling industry.

"The visibility I have now is a privilege," Nalú said. "I want the world to see a Brazilian from Rio, the favelas. Good things exist there. So, for the next girls who come after me, the [industry] will be more open."

5. West follows her on Instagram

Nalú currently has more than 533,000 followers on Instagram, and one of them is West, according to Page Six.

Although it's unclear when and where exactly they met, the model and the rapper were in Paris at the same time last week, the outlet reported.

West recently made the headlines for debuting his controversial "White Lives Matter" T-shirt during his surprise catwalk event for his Yeezy Season 9 collection at Paris Fashion Week. Meanwhile, Nalú was actively posting photos in the French capital from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3.
