Kate Middleton was recently photographed wearing a blue designer suit during her visit to the Defense Medical Rehabilitation Center in Loughborough.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked slender in her long-sleeved, figure-hugging navy-blue jacket with a matching navy-blue skirt. Prince William’s wife also tied her hair neatly in a half-bun.

Middleton’s attire was designed by Alexander McQueen, who happens to be one of her favorite designers. Even though the future queen has worn McQueen’s pieces on multiple occasions, New Idea claimed that there’s a special reason for her choice on Tuesday.

The British fashion designer passed away on Feb. 11, 2010, which means that Middleton might have paid tribute to him on the 10th anniversary of his death. According to The Guardian, McQueen hanged himself after taking drugs.

At that time, Dr. Stephen Pereira shared insight into McQueen’s struggles.

“He certainly felt very pressured by his work, but it was a double-edged sword. He felt it was the only area of his life where he felt he had achieved something. Usually, after a show he felt a huge comedown. He felt isolated, it gave him a huge low,” he said.

Meanwhile, Middleton also made headlines this week after royal experts claimed that fans would be more than open to calling her Queen Kate when Prince William ascends the throne. However, Prince Charles’ wife may not be called Queen Camilla.

“We are now going to see Kate grow in a way we never saw Princess Diana grow. We never saw her reach that maturity and I think Kate is doing brilliantly. She has got three children, she never puts a foot wrong and she is being imaginative with her dresses,” royal expert Angela Mollard told Express.

The expert added that Queen Elizabeth must be grateful for Prince William’s wife because she is such a wonderful addition to the royal family.
