Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle reportedly had a confrontation.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex have been rumored to be feuding for months now. A number of sources claimed that Middleton and Markle don’t get along well with each other.

One report claimed that Markle made Middleton cry before her royal wedding to Prince Harry during Princess Charlotte’s dress fitting. Another claimed that Middleton slammed Markle for berating her staff.

Royal expert Robert Jobson, who spent 30 years covering the royal family, said he believes that there’s some truth to the reports. For him, “it’s clear” that something happened between the two duchesses.

“I think that most of the stories that have been written have probably been true or Kensington Palace would have come down on them with a ton of bricks, so I think most of it’s probably true,” he told Daily Star. “Whether or not there were reports Kate cried over the way her daughter, I don’t know if that’s true or not, but there’s clearly been some confrontation.”

According to reports, Middleton and Markle’s “ghastly row” began in Christmas 2017 when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to their Norfolk home at Prince Charles’ request. Markle was reportedly judged as “downright rude” upon arrival. Middleton also told her something that didn’t sit well with the former “Suits” star.

Markle reportedly complained to Prince Harry that she was being “told off.” Prince Harry immediately took her side. On the other hand, Prince William apparently defended Middleton, who was pregnant with Prince Louis at the time.

However, other reports claimed that Middleton and Markle have no issues, but the tension is actually between Prince William and Prince Harry. Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s youngest son was reportedly riled when his big brother questioned his romance with Markle. Prince Harry apparently felt that Prince William was trying to destroy his relationship with Markle.

Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle were last seen together on Christmas day for the royals’ traditional morning service. Middleton and Markle looked amicable as they smiled and chatted on their way to the church. On the other hand, Prince William and Prince Harry appeared distant and ill at ease.

The fab four will be reuniting soon for Prince Charles’ investiture that Queen Elizabeth II will be hosting at Buckingham Palace.
