Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle rocked the same shade of outfit on the same day for different royal engagements.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex are very popular for their fashion choices. Their styles are also often compared. Despite the differences in their fashion, the two duchesses had twinning moments at their recent royal engagements, Express reported.

On Monday, Prince William and Middleton as well as Prince Harry and Markle did separate royal engagements. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are in Pakistan for an official tour while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have just returned from their South Africa tour.

Prince William looked smart while Middleton was stunning in green when they attended an evening reception in Pakistan. The couple met with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan who was a close friend of the duke’s late mother Princess Diana.

The future king and queen also met with President Arif Alvi before they attended the evening reception at the iconic Pakistan National Monument.

On the other hand, Markle also dazzled in green when she and Prince Harry attended the WellChild Awards that pay tribute to ill children and their families. The Duchess of Sussex paired her dress with a tan coat loosely draped over her shoulders. She also wore the same shoes she used when she visited Ireland in 2018 where she met Prime Minister Leo Varadkar.

According to the publication, dark green is a popular choice among royals today and this is true considering Middleton and Markle’s outfits during their recent sightings. Sarah Ferguson is also known for her fondness for the same shade. The Duchess of York has been spotted wearing green outfits in various engagements.

In related news, prior to the annual WellChild Awards, many royal fans were calling the press to boycott the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after they started an all-out war against the media. One said that “no press should show up for the Duke and Duchess of Suing.” Another online user criticized the press for acting like Prince Harry and Markle are so important and suggested that the royal couple should be boycotted.
