Kate Middleton, Prince William Were Warned Against Having More Babies Before Prince Louis

Kate Middleton and Prince William were open to having a big family, but the co-founder and executive director of “Having Kids” organization urged them to reconsider their plans.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are parents to three adorable children, Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2. However, according to Marie Claire, the royal couple were warned against having another baby before they welcomed their youngest child.

During their Poland and Germany tour in the summer of 2017, Middleton received a toy that resembled a boy while in Warsaw. Prince George was 4 and Princess Charlotte was 2 at the time.

“We’ll just have to have more babies!” Middleton told Prince William.

Shortly afterwards, the children’s organization “Having Kids,” which promotes “sustainable and child-centred family planning model,” made a statement urging the Cambridges to reconsider their plans of expanding their family.

“Your discussion of having a larger family raises compelling issues of sustainability and equity,” Executive Director President Anne Green Carter Dillard wrote in an open letter, as quoted by Marie Claire.

“Large families are not sustainable.”

However, two months later, Prince William and Middlleton announced that they were expecting another baby. In April 2018, they welcomed Prince Louis.

After welcoming their second son, royal fans began clamoring for another Cambridge baby. Interestingly, Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell believes that the royal couple could welcome another baby soon.

“There will be four babies for Kate and William,” Burrell said. “It wouldn’t surprise me if Kate and Meghan were pregnant at the same time next year.”

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle are also expected to make a baby announcement soon. According to Burrell, Markle is approaching 40s and might want to give Archie a sibling very soon.

“It won’t be long before you hear that Meghan is having another baby,” Burrell told Closer Weekly.

“I think that Meghan will have another baby soon: A) the clock is ticking, B) she wants these two children and C) have you noticed how she knots everything in the front of her belly? She tries to hide her tummy. Could she already be pregnant?”

Royal expert Omid Scobie also speculated that another Sussex baby could arrive soon. According to him, there won’t be many new patronages for Prince Harry and Markle this year so they will “focus on what they have on the table now - possibly another baby.”
