Kate Middleton and Princess Diana were photographed holding their baby bump like Meghan Markle.

One netizen shared snaps of pregnant royals holding their baby bump on Twitter. One photo features the Duchess of Cambridge in a floral dress laughing with her hand on her belly. Another shot shows Princess Diana resting her hand on her stomach. Zara Tindall was also photographed holding her baby bump while walking.

The netizen shared the photo to show the unfair criticism the Duchess of Sussex received for doing the same gesture.

“Why is everyone criticising Meghan Markle for cradling her bump?” the user wrote in the caption. “Many pregnant women take pride in the fact they’re having children - including other members of the Royal Family,” the user continued while adding that Markle “gets a lot of unfair criticism.”

Just recently netizens accused Markle of overdoing her pregnancy. The netizen stressed that it’s neither bullying nor racism to share your observations online. She added that people can’t help but notice Markle overdoing her pregnancy compared to Middleton’s three pregnancies.

She added that Prince Harry’s effort to protect his wife is useless because Markle is “attention-grabbing.” Another netizen agreed and pointed out how Markle used her baby bump as a prop.

There’s also a video showing Markle’s little trick to make her baby bump visible all the time. In the 14-second clip, Markle can be seen flicking her coat multiple times to expose her growing belly.

A number of netizens were very disappointed and disgusted with Markle’s gestures. One user even pointed out how she stopped clapping momentarily just to flick back the coat and show her baby bump while the cameras were flashing.

Some online users find Markle’s actions “weird.” Another felt that it was “well played.” A different user also accused Markle of being “fake,” “deceiving” and “attention-grabbing.”

The netizens have been asking Markle to stop herself from rubbing her baby bump in public because they already knew that she’s pregnant. Others joked that she kept on holding it so it won’t fall off. But Markle showed her bashers that their opinions don’t matter because she still touches her baby bump when she visited National Theatre on Wednesday and her supporters love it.
