Kate Middleton reportedly banned Prince William from seeing his ex-girlfriend.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been married for eight years already and are parents to three adorable royal kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Before they tied the knot, they dated for almost a decade, but they had an on-again, off-again relationship.

Prince William was linked to several women when they split. In 2010, the Duchess of Cambridge reportedly banned the Duke of Cambridge from seeing Jecca Craig.

Craig was raised in Kenya and is an environmental activist who founded two charities, Panthera and Stop Ivory. One time, Prince William told Middleton that he wanted to go to Africa to support Craig’s charity, but Middleton said “no.” A source said that Middleton had the “right to be worried.”

“Jessica is hosting a charity marathon across the family wildlife estate and [William] wanted to be there,” a source told Daily Star. “You can imagine how [Kate] felt. Kate is seriously worried and so should be. Jessica is a knock-out.”

According to Amanda Harding, in 2001 Prince William embarked on a romantic journey with Craig. However, their romance didn’t last long, but they remained friends.

Katie Nicholl claimed in her book, “William and Harry,” that Prince William snubbed Middleton on his 21st birthday party in 2003 due to Jecca. During the prince’s birthday bash, Middleton was “barely registering” on Prince William’s radar as he was very occupied with Jecca and his eyes were glued on her.

Middleton didn’t have the honor and pride to be seated next to Prince William during the party. Instead, it was Jecca who had the pride of place next to Prince William at the head table.

In 2014, Craig joined a hunting trip in Spain in which Prince William was also part of. But it was a group thing and Prince Harry was there too.

Earlier this year, Middleton and Prince William’s marriage was tested when rumors about the duke cheating on his wife made headlines. Prince William allegedly had an affair with Rose Hansbury. Despite the reports, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge didn’t show any signs of a strained marriage every time they are out together.
