Kate Middleton’s body language has reportedly changed ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their decision to quit the royal family.

While speaking with Express, body language expert Judi James said that Middleton has been trying to recreate Prince Harry’s fun role in the royal family. In the past, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also serious and professional whenever they are out in public.

But in recent months, the royal couple has become more affectionate and playful towards each other.

“Since Megxit there are some trends and traits from Kate's body language that suggests she is now trying to recreate the Harry ‘fun’ role herself. She is often being seen trying to make her husband laugh in public and indulging in more frequent bouts of actual laughter herself when she is making royal visits,” he said.

James also claimed that Middleton has seemingly made the conscious decision to become more fun because she doesn’t want to be seen as a stuffy royal. The body language expert also said that it is evident that the future queen misses Prince Harry since they used to be very close.

“It could just be that Kate is quietly mourning the loss of her younger brother and trying hard to replicate his role in their life as a family. In between her smiles and laughter, there have also been quite dramatic glimpses of a sadder and more thoughtful-looking facial expression from Kate too,” he said.

The Duchess of Cambridge also made headlines this week after it was revealed that she lost an incredibly valuable ally in the royal family. On the “Royals” podcast, royal commentator Angela Mollard said that Middleton must be devastated to learn about Peter Phillips and Autumn Phillips’ decision to split.

Middleton and Autumn are reportedly good friends, and their respective children are also very close to each other. In fact, there was one instance wherein Prince George and Savannah made headlines after the latter covered the former’s mouth at a formal engagement.
