Kate Middleton dressed down for her first royal engagement.

On Tuesday, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out without Prince William to visit King Henry’s Walk Garden in Islington to see how the project brings people together through gardening and food growing. Many were pleased with Middleton’s appearance and a number are very interested in her wardrobe.

For the said outing, Middleton stunned in a casual Dubarry Bracken tweed jacket that she paired with skinny jeans and combat boots. The Dubarry jacket can be purchased online for $599. On the other hand, Middleton’s leather-trimmed suede ankle boots are up for grabs for $267 at Net-A-Porter.

On the said visit, Middleton made pizza with kids and revealed that her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte would be jealous if they learned about it because they love the activity, too. However, the two couldn’t accompany her because they were in school.

Middleton also made sure that her accessories would be fit for her outing. The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a pair of leaf-shaped earrings designed by Kiki McDonough.

Overall, the royal mom of three was gorgeous in her outfit. One netizen complimented Middleton’s wardrobe choice by saying that it was “perfection.”

Another user praised Middleton for choosing to dress smartly for the occasion. “Clothes are good for this activity,” the netizen wrote.

Middleton made an unexpected twist in her outfits after her six-month maternity leave. A number of fashion experts noticed how the royal mom of three was stepping out of her comfort zone after welcoming Prince Louis when she donned a checkered off-the-shoulder Erdem dress.

The Duchess of Cambridge also wowed fans when she wore a bright fuchsia pink at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s royal wedding. Middleton was never seen in that shade before.

“After that long break, she has certainly come back with a bang,” Kaitlin Menza, co-host of the “Royally Obsessed” podcast, told Vanity Fair about Middleton’s wardrobe change.

She also felt that Middleton’s recent wardrobe choices give an impression about her taking in charge. “I'm beginning to see the person who's going to be the queen emerging,” she added.
