Kate Middleton was stunning on her recent outing.

On Tuesday evening, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out sans Prince William to attend the 2019 Portrait Gala at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Middleton arrived at the star-studded black-tie gala in an evening dress.

Middleton donned a recycled Alexander McQueen outfit. She was first seen in the black dress at the BAFTAs 2017. However, the duchess made a slight change in her outfit by refashioning the off-the-shoulder design. Middleton swapped the Bardot straps for cap sleeves to make it look brand new.

Middleton accessorized with a pink morganite and diamond earrings by Kiki McDonough and a Prada clutch. The royal mom of three complemented her outfit with her signature curls.

Middleton wasn’t the only royal present at the event because Prince William’s cousin Princess Beatrice was among the guests with her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozi. Meanwhile, among the celebrity guests were David Beckham and fashion mogul wife Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Bianca Jagger.

Earlier that day, Middleton visited the Henry Fawcett Centre in London where she met 9-month-old Kameron and twins Kamina and Kashay. The Duchess of Cambridge shared a rare update about Prince Louis on the said outing.

Middleton revealed that Prince Louis wants to pull himself all the time. He also got little walkers and the duchess is always running after him.

During Middleton’s visit to the center, she sported a purple blouse by Gucci and paired it with wide-leg black pants from Jigsaw. According to People, Middleton made a statement by wearing the shirt backward, so that the buttons ran down the front instead of the back as shown in its retail version.

Eagle-eyed fans also noticed that the cuffs on her sleeves are placed differently, so it’s possible that Middleton wore her top backward but she still tied the neck bow in front. It’s also possible that the royal had it customized with buttons in front.

On Monday, Middleton joined Prince William, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Queen Elizabeth II for the Commonwealth Day service. The Duchess of Cambridge was praised for her red dress and matching hat.

Meanwhile, Markle’s hat was criticized as it was similar to what nurses and cooks wear. The Duchess of Cornwall also committed a fashion faux pas when she arrived wearing a dress with a similar shade to Her Majesty’s outfit.
