Kate Middleton knows what looks good on her and is not afraid to recycle outfits.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who will turn 37 on Jan. 9, and her husband, Prince William, attended church service in Sandringham over the weekend. They accompanied Queen Elizabeth II, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were noticeably absent from the outing. They were greeted by well-wishers following the service, with some even handing bouquets of flowers to Middleton.

For the church service, Middleton looked absolutely gorgeous in a blue coat from one of her go-to labels, Catherine Walker. She first wore the stunning piece during her trip to Norway early last year. She paired the coat with a headband of the same color, black Prada pumps and a Jimmy Choo "Celeste" clutch.

What wasn't so obvious about her outfit was the dress under the coat. Middleton apparently recycled yet another item of clothing, this time a navy polka dot dress by Alessandra Rich that she previously donned for Prince Charles' 70th birthday portraits last year. Middleton also wore another Catherine Walker design recently when she attended the Christmas Day service at the St. Mary Magdalene church in Sandringham with the rest of the royal family. The Duchess of Cambridge seemed to embody the holiday spirit in her gorgeous red Catherine Walker coat dress, matching red heels, gloves, Bayswater clutch by Mulberry and the burgundy "Halo Band" with a black felt bow by milliner Jane Taylor.

Meanwhile, Middleton's habit of recycling may be one of the main reasons why she spent much less on clothing and accessories than sister-in-law Meghan did last year.

One report claimed that while Markle dropped $517,000 on new clothing in 2018, Middleton apparently only spent $87,000. The Duchess of Cambridge reportedly only spent 16.8 percent of what Prince Harry's wife did on clothes last year.

However, Markle did tie the knot with Prince Harry at the royal wedding last year, while Middleton spent part of 2018 on maternity leave, so it is understandable why there is such a big difference between their clothing budget.
