Kate Middleton has helped reduce the suicide rate in Britain.

According to a new report released by the United Kingdom's Office of National Statistics, the country's male suicide rate has dropped to 15.5 out of 100,000, which is the lowest since 1981. According to Vogue, one of the campaigns that contributed to this decrease is Prince William, Middleton and Prince Harry's Heads Together.

The royal trio are active mental health advocates. In 2016, the Duke of Cambridge revealed that his wife came up with the brilliant idea.

"It was Catherine who first realized that all three of us were working on mental health in our individual areas of focus," Prince William said. "She had seen that at the core of adult issues like addiction and family breakdown, unresolved childhood mental health issues were often part of the problem."

Prince Harry, Prince William and Middleton have worked on a number of projects and are not shy when it comes to sharing their personal struggles in order to encourage others to speak up.

At the moment, Middleton is still on maternity leave. However, she is expected to return to her royal duties next month. There are rumors that she might make her official comeback at the World Mental Health Day celebration. Last year, the Duchess of Cambridge also took a short leave after announcing her third pregnancy. However, she attended the World Mental Health Day that honored the people who are working in the mental health sector across the U.K.

In related news, Middleton is expected to have an emotional week as her kids are set to return to school. Princess Charlotte will start her nursery class on Wednesday. On the other hand, Prince George will have his first day of school at Thomas's Battersea on Thursday.

Prince William and Middleton are expected to escort their children to school. Last year, the Duke of Cambridge was the only one who accompanied the third-in-line to the throne on his first day to school as Middleton was advised to stay at home and rest due to severe morning sickness. Middleton made it up to her eldest son as she was spotted dropping Prince George to school after delivering Prince Louis.
