Kate Middleton wore a stunning pair of pearl earrings to Prince Louis’ christening last weekend, and the cost of the jewelry has finally been revealed.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s Cavolfiore Pearl Studs from Cassandra Goad is priced at almost $6,000 and are available for order. The earrings feature seven pearls with diamonds set on a yellow gold base. The accessory has also been described as a jewelry that is typically worn by Lord Mayors, countesses, and princesses.

Middleton also reportedly paid tribute to Princess Diana at her son’s christening by wearing her pearl studs. After all, the earrings featured the late Princess of Wales’ favorite flower – white rose. On May 19, Prince Harry also included Princess Diana on his wedding day to Meghan Markle by surrounding the chapel’s steps with white roses.

Philippa Craddock, a London florist, was tasked to design the chapel’s exteriors ahead of Prince Harry and Markle’s big day.

In related news, Middleton was not the only member of the royal family that honored Princess Diana at Prince Louis’ christening. Markle was photographed in her olive-green Ralph Lauren dress at the gathering. Princess Diana used to wear olive green clothes when she was still alive.

Several years ago, Princess Diana was photographed climbing a tank during her visit to the Royal Hampshire regiment at Tidworth in her olive-green camouflage soldier gear. The Princess of Wales also wore an olive-green suit designed by Jasper Conran during the 1980s.

Following her wedding to Prince Charles, Princess Diana continued to wear ensembles in olive green hues. When they went to Lisbon, she was photographed in her army-colored attire while signing the visitors’ book at the Castle of St. George.

Vanessa Collen, the founder of Collen & Clare, told Express that Markle has been playing around with fashion conventions that are reminiscent of Prince Harry’s mom’s choices.

“We can all look at Meghan to flex the rules and a little and push boundaries in the same way that Diana did,” she said.
