The Duchess of Cambridge once again surprised her royal fans at a star-studded gala dinner Friday night with her dress code and fashion sense.

Kate Middleton, always known for her classic style of dressing, looks pretty when she steps out, but when she arrived for Our Greatest Team Rises event on Friday night to celebrate Team GB and Paralympics GB at the Royal Albert Hall, in central London, she looked stunning in a beautiful Jenny Packham gown from the Spring 2012 collection.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were guests of honor at the British Olympic Association.

You, our Olympians and Paralympians, will inspire people up and down this country, and far beyond its borders, Prince William told the crowd.

The 30-year-old fashion icon wore an attention-grabbing bright turquoise gown with lace details. The floor-length gown design featured a low-cut neckline with a lace back and a crystal-adorned ribbon that was cinched at the waist.

The gown was by Jenny Packham, one of Kate's favorite designers. The outfit first appeared last September in Packham's Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

She accessorized the eye-catching dress with a matching Jenny Packham bespoke clutch made from the matching brocade as the side panels of the gown.

Along with her floor-length dress she wore her favourite four-inch, $750 Jimmy Choo Vamp silver leather platform glitter sandals that she'd worn earlier this week.

The Duchess, who usually likes to leave her glossy brunette hair open, was spotted with an elegant knotted chignon created by the hair team at the Richard Ward salon in Chelsea.

In December 2011, the the Duke and the Duchess along with Prince Harry were formally announced as Official Team GB and ParalympicsGB 2012 Ambassadors. William and Kate arrived at the black tie gala evening to mark the final countdown to the 2012 London Olympics.
