Katy Perry Cuts Locks While Boyfriend Orlando Bloom Spends Time With Nigerien Kids

Katy Perry shocked fans when she debuted her short blonde locks at the Women’s March in late January. As it turns out, the “Chained to the Rhythm” singer was not done reinventing her locks in the wake of her comeback to the music scene. Just last Thursday, Perry surprised her fans once again when she was spotted with an even shorter bob. Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Orlando Bloom, still has not reunited with the singer-songwriter as he is currently busy with his UNICEF duties.

Perry attended the Marc Jacobs FW/17 collection presentation at New York Fashion Week on Thursday, and she certainly turned heads with her new appearance. Apparently, the “Roar” hitmaker went to the fashion event rocking really short hair — shorter than the hairdo she was sporting at the Grammy Awards last Sunday. Daily Mail speculated that the pop diva may have worn a wig at the awards show and is only now ready to flaunt her real new look. Check out her new hairstyle here.

On Instagram, Katy has yet to show off her shorter blonde locks, since her latest post still features her Grammys look. Many of her fans even adored that look that they couldn’t help but comment on how pretty she was with it. One fan wrote: “Gosh, you’re perfection, even when the camera is so up close you are flawless.” Another fan pointed out how the blonde bob made her look extra beautiful.

While Perry is currently focused on her music, her boyfriend is in the other side of the world doing some charity work. Bloom, who has been a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF since 2009, is currently in Niger spreading some love and giving a helping hand to the less-fortunate kids there. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star even posted about his time with children there on his Instagram account. In one post, Miranda Kerr’s ex-husband said he is happy to be part of the nonprofit organization.

Although Perry and Bloom are spending some time apart lately, the Hollywood celebs are still a couple. The twosome were inseparable during the holiday season last December. Then, after joining Perry and her family for Christmas, Bloom and his lady love vacationed in Japan for the New Year and even stayed there for the first week of January.
