Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have been dating for, approximately, three years now. The “Roar” singer and her boyfriend first sparked romance rumors after they were seen dancing and looking flirty at the Weinstein Company/Netflix Golden Globes after-party in January 2016. Earlier this year, the pair, allegedly, got engaged after Katy, who donned a ring with pink stone surrounded by diamonds, shared a photo of her alongside Orlando as they were surrounded by heart balloons.

Recent reports are saying that Katy and Orlando are set to tie the knot in Egypt. A tabloid claimed that the lovebirds are, already, preparing for the forthcoming wedding ceremony to be held in Giza. “During their trip to Giza, Katy told Orly she’d love to get married there. He couldn’t think of anything more romantic,” a source told the publication. “Katy’s been looking for something just as romantic and just as visual – and Egypt ticks every box,” it added.

While it is true that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom jetted to Egypt in late October, the pair traveled there to celebrate the “Thinking of You” songstress’ 35th birthday and not plan for their upcoming wedding. “Ancient Egyptians believed that when you pass on your heart had to be weighed," Katy posted on Instagram alongside a photo of her standing among the stunning pyramids. "It had to be lighter than a feather to be qualified for the trip to the afterlife. My mother has called me feather since I was a little girl and I hope after all is said and done my heart is as light as one. This is 35,” she went on.

Aside from the fact that the pair has not confirmed anything about their wedding as of yet, neither Katy nor Orlando dropped hints about their alleged plans to tie the knot in the most populous country in the Arab world. Hence, fans should take these claims lightly until everything is proven true and correct.

Meanwhile, Us Weekly, previously, reported that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom will be exchanging their wedding vows before the year ends. The couple has been keeping the details of their upcoming wedding under wraps, sparking reports that the ceremony will be intimate and only close family members and friends will be invited.

"They are using a planner to finalize all the wedding details. Katy seems in charge, but Orlando is involved with the planning, too,” sources close to the pair told People in June. "They don’t seem stressed about it though. It will be a fun celebration with family and friends."
