Keanu Reeves opened up about joining Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as most of his fans have been looking forward to watching him in the superhero franchise. The actor admitted that he would love to join MCU but he doesn’t know how he will fit in their movies.

"Oh my gosh, I don't know! I actually don't have an answer," Reeves told ET on Sunday during "The Matrix Resurrections" premiere event held in San Francisco at The Castro Theatre.

The actor further noted that there are so many wonderful movies, artists, and filmmakers involved in MCU, before adding, "It would be fun to be a part of."

Reeves is all set to treat his fans with "The Matrix Resurrections," which is slated to release on Dec. 22 in theaters and on HBO Max, simultaneously.

During the interview, the 57-year-old actor recalled one of the scenes from the movie that he had to perform almost 20 times to get it right.

"There's a moment where they're trying to survive, and so we kind of took a leap, a lovers leap let's say, off of the building," he said, adding: "One of the coolest things about these films is that you get to do cool stuff."

Considering Reeves' love for comics and live-action, fans might witness him featuring in MCU, maybe after a couple of years. It won't be surprising for fans to see him playing a comic book character as earlier this year, the actor dropped a comic book series, "BRZRKR" on March 3.

The actor will star in the live-action adaptation of this comic book and will also lend his voice for the animated version of it, which is currently under development by Netflix.

Besides the Matrix franchise, the actor has also lent his voice to an animated comedy movie, "DC League of Super-Pets," alongside Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, John Krasinski and Jameela Jamil. The movie is slated to release on May 20, 2022. The actor will also appear in a miniseries, "Rain."

Reeves will also feature in "John Wick: Chapter 4," which is scheduled for May 27, 2022 release while "John Wick: Chapter 5" is currently under pre-production and expected to release in 2023.
