Kendall Jenner has shared her support for Miley Cyrus after the latter wrote an emotional post on social media recently. The “Slide Away” singer has been dealing with two recent breakups, and she slammed people for “slut-shaming” women while holding men in a similar position to a different standard.

Cyrus took to Twitter to explain to her fans that while she understands their feelings of being invested in her past relationships, she has the right to make her own choices as an adult. Some of her fans feel “entitled” because they have watched the singer grow up, but she pointed out to them that she has grown up. What the fans know about her is only through the internet, which means they don’t really know her.

Talking about the different standards for men and women in society, Cyrus pointed out that successful men are rarely “slut shamed” for moving on from one beautiful woman to the next, “MOST times without consequence.” Such men are instead referred to as “Ladies Man,” “heart throbs,” “G,” and legends.” Women on the other hand are called “sluts” or “whores.”

Cyrus said that she is just trying to survive and “thrive” in a “mans” world. The singer is not only getting support from her fans for the post, but from her friends and celebrities as well. One of those friends is Jenner, who took to Twitter and to voice her support.

“ I feel this! live your life girl” Jenner wrote in response to Cyrus’ post. She also added a heart-shaped emoji in her tweet.

As far as Cyrus is concerned, she wrote in another tweet that she is new to dating after being in a committed relationship for most of her teen years. She, however, doesn’t want to date people from her home with just Netflix, and instead wants to go out in public places. The singer doesn’t want people to pity her, but she does want her fans to get used to the idea of her dating and not make it awkward for her.

Jenner too is currently single after her break up with Ben Simmons. The model has been seen in public on multiple occasions, but she isn’t reported to be dating anyone yet.
