Kendall Jenner Stuns During White House Correspondents' Dinner, Reveals She Was Starstuck By President Obama

Kendall Jenner was just one of the celebrities who attended the White House Correspondents’ dinner held on Saturday, April 30. The runway model looked stunning during the event’s red carpet event and has even met U.S. President Barack Obama.

Kendall, who attended the affair as a guest of USA Today, displayed her statuesque figure in a black floor-length gown, Entertainment Tonight reported. The gown is from designer Vivienne Westwood and featured a plunging neckline. She partnered her elegant dress with black strappy high-heels and a diamond choker necklace.

The Victoria’s Secret model also had the chance to meet U.S. President Obama during the star-studded event. Kendall has shared in an interview with People magazine that she typically does not get starstruck when meeting famous people. However, her encounter with the U.S. president can be considered one of those rare moments. “That was like my first time, ever,” Kendall said, of being starstruck over meeting President Obama.

President Obama even made mention of Kendall in his speech during the White House Correspondents’ dinner. He commented that he had the chance to meet the model backstage. President Obama also described her as a “very nice young woman.”

“I'm not exactly sure what she does but I am told that my Twitter mentions are about to go through the roof,” he jokingly added.

Kendall’s mother Kris Jenner also gushed over her daughter’s attendance during the said event. She shared in an interview with the same magazine that Kendall was “proud” to be a part of the White House Correspondents’ dinner. “She's already Instagrammed it. I know she's proud. She's all over it,” Kris commented.

Kris also shared a photo collage on Instagram that showed Kendall’s amazing look and designer gown during the event. She captioned the image, “So elegant... So beautiful!! @kendalljenner at the White House Correspondent's Dinner #WHCD #proudmama #mybeauty #love.”

Other celebrities who joined the White House Correspondent's Dinner included Bellamy Young, Priyanka Chopra, Karlie Kloss, husband and wife Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith.
