They may be fully supportive about her transition, but Khloe Kardashian and her sisters still call Caitlyn Jenner by her former name, “Bruce.” This is what Khloe revealed on a TV show in Australia Thursday.

"Me and my sisters, we still call Caitlyn Bruce, and we've been told that's completely fine. She's told us we're allowed to call her any name we want to," said Khloe. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the reality star spoke about Caitlyn and her transition when she made an appearance on the TV show “The Project.” Khloe is currently in Australia to promote the launch of the Kardashian Kids line that she owns with her sisters.

While on the show, the conversation inevitably steered towards Caitlyn. Khloe explained that they are still calling her Bruce, not because they are not supporting her choice to be called Caitlyn. Instead, she explained that they sometimes forget that they are talking to Caitlyn because on the phone, she still sounds like Bruce.

Caitlyn herself has acknowledged that she still has a voice issue. In the coming episode of her E! show “I Am Cait,” she opens up about the problem and even tries out her female voice in front of stepdaughter Kim Kardashian.

During the special documentary “Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce,” Caitlyn had already told her children that they can still call her dad. She said she is still the same person and they can still call her what they were comfortable with. Khloe said she and the rest of the family are also transitioning along with Caitlyn in the sense that they need to get used to all the changes.

In the premiere episode of “I Am Cait,” Caitlyn’s mother Esther also said that she will probably still call her Bruce. While she fully supports her child, she said that calling her Caitlyn and thinking of her as a woman will take a lot of getting used to.

Caitlyn has said on numerous occasions that she is lucky to have received a lot of love and acceptance from her family members. However, she also knows that not all transgender people are lucky to have the same support. Khloe explained that “there was definitely a moment that was really tough for all of us.”

"That's completely behind us and we're just happy for her (Jenner). We just want her to be happy," Khloe summed up.
