Khloe Kardashian just announced that her family would skip their traditional Christmas party this year.

The Kardashian-Jenner clan usually gather together for the holidays. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" stars spend the holidays together and they usually have a Christmas Eve party, but not this year.

"The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA. So we decided that we’re not doing a Christmas Eve party this year," Kardashian tweeted on Monday in response to a fan asking if her family would do their annual Christmas party.

"It’s the first time we will not be having a Christmas Eve party since 1978 I believe. Health and safety first though! Taking this pandemic seriously is a must."

Twitter users were supportive of the Kardashians' decision to skip their annual gathering. They agreed that it's best to stick to the government's order that discourages social gatherings. Nevertheless, they hoped Kardashian and her family would still have a great Christmas.

"Yes Khloé !!! We all must stick together to beat this pandemic. Australia has been doing okay so we are allowed out FRIEMDS [sic] and family over for Christmas !!!! So thankful," one commented.

"Ya I’m here in CA and almost everyone is sick with covid or a regular cold it’s bad," another wrote.

"I hope you're Xmas is as good as it can be," a third user added.

"Do one if things get better by summer lol just postpone it," another opined.

Meanwhile, Kardashian has been retweeting snaps of her with her daughter, True. In one shot, she is seen cradling her newborn baby. In the second picture, she’s carrying her daughter in her arms and kissing her on the lips.

"My life!! My heart!! My angel!!" she wrote in the caption.

In another tweet, the mother and daughter are bonding together wearing dresses and matching white shoes. "My baby," Khloe wrote.

Kardashian's boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, flew to Boston last month. A day after the former Cleveland Cavaliers player's trip, she posted cryptic messages in her Instagram Stories about gratitude, kindness and love.

"If it makes you happy, it doesn't have to make sense to others," one message read.

Many were not supportive of Kardashian’s decision to take back Thompson who cheated on her when she was still pregnant. But sources said the reality star stays true to her heart when it comes to making decisions. Kardashian believes that it’s best to have Thompson in her life, according to a source.

"Khloe is doing what she feels is right for herself and her daughter, True. Khloe has never listened to outside voices, she’s always stayed true to her heart," an insider said.
