  • Kiely Rodni disappeared around 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 6
  • AWP said Sunday its divers found a body in Prosser Creek Reservoir
  • Authorities announced Monday that the body was "more likely" Rodni's

As divers from a search team discovered a body believed to be that of the missing California teen, Kiely Rodni, from the campground reservoir, the teen's boyfriend spoke out on social media, sharing his despair.

Rodni's boyfriend, 18-year-old Jagger Westfall, said "it f---ing hurts" after the search team, Adventures With Purpose (AWP), announced Sunday that its divers located the said body.

The grim discovery comes two weeks after Rodni disappeared from the end-of-school party at the Prosser Family Campground, the New York Post reported.

Following the search team's announcement, law enforcement officials said in a conference Monday that the body was "more than likely" Rodni's. However, they are awaiting confirmation from the medical examiner.

"This was an insanely f---ed up situation and still is insanely f---ed up," Westfall said in an emotional video filmed in a moving car and posted on Facebook after the tragic discovery.

"I still don't know how to process it and I don't think I'm ever going to be able to process it. I know it f—ing hurts and I know it hurts all of you," he continued.

Westfall also thanked the officials and people who were involved in the search operation. "I just wanted to say thank you for everyone who put the effort in and tried so fucking hard to bring her home," he said.

Westfall had earlier revealed that he had been texting Rodni before she went to the party, asking her to be safe.

Rodni went missing at around 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 6. Her vehicle, a 2013 Honda CRV, was nowhere to be found as well.

At least three police dive teams searched the reservoir after investigators determined her phone's last location at the lake, but the officials could not make any discovery.

The divers from AWP, who were recruited by the officials to help with the search, eventually discovered the body inside the car, which was upside down in 14 feet-deep water in Prosser Lake. The vehicle was reportedly found about 300 yards from the campground where Rodni attended the party.

Meanwhile, Rodni's family paid tribute to the teen and thanked everyone involved in search operations for the past two weeks. "We are eternally grateful for the love and support you have shown us in the last couple of weeks... Kiely will remain with us although we will not get her back." the family said in a statement released on Facebook.
