Kim Kardashian Admits To Trying To Get More Followers Than Kylie Jenner

Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are two of the most popular social media personalities of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Both TV personalities post content on their Instagram handles regularly and get a hefty amount of money from those posts, too.

But it seems like Kim is adamant in overtaking Kylie in terms of the number of followers on the photo-sharing platform.

In a YouTube video posted by the CEO of Kylie Cosmetics, Kim revealed that she wants to dethrone her sister from having the most number of followers on the platform and take back the numero uno position that was held by her for quite a while.

During a makeup tutorial video named "Get Ready With Us," Kylie was doing Kim's eye-makeup when one of her lashes fell out. To which Kylie noted that they should make a wish using it. Kim nodded and wished that she wants to beat her younger sister on Instagram.

"I just wished I would beat you in Instagram again. Now my wish won't come true," Kim said.

As of late, Kylie takes the lead with 159 million followers on the social media platform while the 39-year-old TV star has 157 million followers to her name.

Not just in followers, but the Forbes' youngest self-made billionaire is also ahead of Kim in terms of making money through sponsored posts on IG.

The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan earns over $3.5 million per year through all the paid posts and was eighth on the list of top 10 celebrities that earned the most from sponsored posts in 2019.

Surprisingly, Kim's name was not on the list which was topped by Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. Nevertheless, it was Kendall who was the highest-earning member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan on the list.

Later in the video, Kylie also revealed that she wants to be a mother of four, just like her older sister Kim Kardashian. However, the makeup mogul is not sure as to when she could complete her big family.

"I see myself for sure having four kids. I don't have a timeline to this," Jenner said.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star shares one child, Stormi Webster, with rapper Travis Scott.
