Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who welcomed their son Saint West on Dec. 5, will not be having more children, TMZ reported Monday. Doctors have warned the couple that Kardashian might suffer from a serious pregnancy condition that could harm her life, the report added.

Kardashian revealed on her website in November that she suffered from preeclampsia, a condition which “causes your body and face to swell,” during her first pregnancy in June 2013. She also detailed her birth experience with daughter North West when her placenta did not come out, which is called placenta accreta.

“My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails. How disgusting and painful!!!” the 35-year-old reality star said at the time. “My delivery was fairly easy, but then going through that -- it was the most painful experience of my life!”

TMZ reported Monday that doctors told Kardashian that she is likely to get placenta accreta again, threatening her and her baby’s life. Moreover, Kardashian was also scared of another painful birth and she and West have decided not to have any more children, a source told the entertainment website.

Meanwhile, Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner said last Wednesday that her grandson Saint West was indeed a “saint.”

“It's perfect," Jenner said. "He's amazing. We've only known him for a few days so we'll see if he's calm, or you know, anxious."
