Kim Kardashian Paris Fashion Week Balmain Show: 7 Most Scandalous Looks From Kanye West’s Wife

For Kim Kardashian West, less is more when it comes to high fashion and covering up her famous body. The reality TV star attended the Balmain Spring 2017 show Thursday during Paris Fashion Week along with hoards of other celebrities, but she was the center of attention in a netted gown that left very little to the imagination.

Kardashian sat in the front row at the show, with her sister, Kortney Kardashian, and mother Kris Jenner in tow. Balmain designer Olivier Rousting routinely features the Kardashians in the brand's ads and shows and counts Kim Kardashian as a friend. The Balmain show invitations even included a full-length image of Kim Kardashian dressed in her gown from the 2016 Met Gala in New York, while another card pictured a close-up shot of husband Kanye West’s Face from the Met Gala – grill, ice-blue colored contact lenses and all.

Prior to the show, Rousting wrote a message to attendees about the collection’s inspiration. Referencing his “Balmain Army” theme from the previous season, Rousting wrote that he was moving in a different direction for the spring/summer season, and declared, “My Balmain army has shed its armor."

Kim Kardashian apparently interpreted that to mean shed any excessive fabric. It looked as though she was wearing strategically placed undergarments, although the outfit was not entirely an unexpected option for the celeb.

The look was in keeping with her recent parade of revealing clothing. Post-baby number two, Kim Kardashian has taken to flaunting her famous curves in cut-down-to-there dresses and sheer body-con dresses. For a celeb who has been known to post nude pictures on Instagram, the outfit choices are anything but typical “mom-wear” for the mother of two.
