Kim Kardashian West is a proud mama if the Instagram stories she shared about 6-year-old daughter North on Monday are any indication.

North took to the stage to rap at dad Kanye West's Paris Fashion Week runway as models walked around her, E! News reported. Kim was sitting front row recording the entirety of her young daughter’s performance and can be heard laughing and cheering her on.

“I’m so proud of my Northie!!!!!!” she wrote. “Her 1st performance had me in tears! She had an impromptu performance on stage at her dads Yeezy Season 8 fashion show! Shout out to Zaza!!! @redcarpetZaZa North hopes you like the remix!!!"

The ZaZa shoutout is a reference to the 4-year-old viral sensation famous for her hit, “What I Do?” Kim made sure to give credit to the tiny singer after she received backlash for North’s impromptu rap including some of the same lyrics, US Weekly reported.

Though she remained proud of her own daughter, Kim made sure to give credit after learning of the backlash. Not only did she tag ZaZa in her Instagram story, but she also commented on a frustrated post from ZaZa’s parents where they expressed their dismay that their daughter was not originally credited for the song.

“We love you, North is a huge fan and records in the studio all the time with her dad and is inspired by ZaZa and loves Lay Lay too! Today’s performance of North’s remix of ZaZa’s song was something she asked to do at the last minute and a complete surprise. I didn’t mean to not give credit where credit was due. Would love for the girls to meet soon,” she wrote.

Kim continued showcasing North's success on her Instagram story afterward, posting a video of herself holding her daughter’s hand as North danced post fashion show.
