  • Court papers filed Monday details a list of complaints against Kim Kardashian
  • A former staff claimed he was fired when he asked her about overtime and rest breaks
  • A source close to Kardashian says she pays her bills on time

Kim Kardashian is facing another problem amid her divorce battle with Kanye West. The "Keeping Up with The Kardashian" star's former gardeners and maintenance staff have sued her for a number of shady boss-type behaviors.

Page Six reported that Kardashian's former staff filed a lawsuit Monday in Los Angeles. The complainants claimed that the reality star was late with their pay, refused to pay them overtime wages, withheld 10% of their wages for taxes and didn't forward it to the government, and sometimes forced them to work without meal breaks.

One former employee claimed that he was immediately fired after he brought up the issues to her. A 16-year-old ex-worker said he was made to work beyond the 48 maximum allowable hours for an underage summer employee.

An unnamed source close to the KKW Beauty founder told Page Six that Kardashian did not have a history of not paying her bills on time. The mom of four takes a lot of pride in paying her employees on time for their work, so her former staff are suing the wrong person, the source claimed.

"These workers were hired and paid through a third-party vendor hired by Kim to provide ongoing services," a spokesperson for Kardashian said. "Kim is not [a] party to the agreement made between the vendor and their workers, therefore she is not responsible for how the vendor manages their business and the agreements they have made directly with their staff."

The social media maven previously boasted of treating her staff well. Kardashian even had a fight with sister Kourtney during an episode of "Keeping Up with The Kardashians" after she accused the latter of "degrading" one of the nannies in front of the kids.

Kourtney denied the allegation but told Kardashian that the nanny would never work for her. At one point, Kardashian stated she liked the nanny and preferred to keep her staff for a long time.

Following the heated scene, an insider told People that the Kardashian sisters work with their children's nannies in different manners. "Both Kim and Khloé treat their nannies like family. Kim has several nannies that help with her kids and they have worked for the family for a while. Khloé has also held onto a nanny for True that she treats well," the source said.

Kardashian has an estimated net worth of $1 billion. Aside from her income from "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," she has also been generating significant amounts of money from her cosmetics and clothing businesses.

Kardashian has not yet commented on the allegations.
