After months of getting slammed for her weight, reality star Kim Kardashian reportedly plans to sign with WeightWatchers after she gives birth to her much-anticipated bundle of joy in July. The 32-year-old is reportedly days away from signing and announcing her new role as a U.S. spokesperson for the brand.

According to the Daily Star, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” beauty was contacted by the weight-loss company after hearing complaints that she was unhappy with her pregnancy-related weight gain.

“WeightWatchers have made their offers and she’s likely to sign in the coming day,” said a source. “Kim thinks constantly about how she’s going to get her figure back once she’s had the baby. This will spur her on.”

This isn’t the first time Kardashian has shown interest in WeightWatchers. Mere days after her boyfriend, rapper Kanye West, announced the pair were expecting, a source told the Huffington Post that the pregnant star wanted to follow in Jessica Simpson’s footsteps, said a spokesperson for the company.

“Kim would love to get a paid gig like Jessica, but so far no one is interested,” said a source, who originally claimed the star was planning on watching her weight while expecting. “She plans to stay healthy during her pregnancy, but even so will gain baby weight that she would love to be paid to lose.”

Simpson was reportedly given a rumored $4 million deal to lose weight with the company. The singer starred in two commercials for the brand, the latest after her loss of up to 50 pounds following the birth of her daughter Maxwell in May 2012.

According to TMZ, Kardashian was turned down by rival weight-loss companies Jenny Craig and Medifast just three months into her pregnancy. Representatives for both companies claimed Kardashian wasn’t “real enough” to be a sponsor. Kardashian and her sisters, Khloe Kardashian-Odom and Kourtney Kardashian, previously had a deal with the controversial weight-loss product QuickTrim.

Kardashian opened up about her weight gain in October 2012, telling Life & Style that she was interested in slimming down. “I think everyone goes up and down in whatever that comfortable love-relationship phase is where you like to eat out,” she said. “But now it’s time to get it together again.”
