  • Kim Kardashian congratulated Tristan Thompson after signing a deal with Boston Celtics
  • Kim showed her support to Thompson on social media
  • Rob Kardashian also supported Thompson's move to sign with the Celtics

Kim Kardashian and Rob Kardashian will be supporting Boston Celtics in the upcoming NBA season because their sister Khloe's boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, just signed a deal with the team.

Kardashian's sister, Khloe, has gotten back with Thompson a few months back. The Kardashian clan is supportive of the basketball player after he switched teams by signing a $19 million contract with Boston Celtics as a free agent.

"Congrats @realtristan13 Boston here we come!!!" she wrote in her Instagram Story.

Rob also congratulated Thompson on social media by writing, "LET’S GO @realtristan13."

Thompson, for his part, reposted both Kim and Rob's messages on his Instagram and wrote, "Yessirskii."

Thompson played for Cleveland Cavaliers for nine seasons before he signed the deal with Celtics. His agent Rich Paul of Klutch Sports confirmed the news on Saturday.

Kim and Rob aren't the only ones in the Kardashian-Jenner clan who are willing to forgive Thompson. Khloe also wants to move on from his cheating scandal and even gave him another chance. Several outlets confirmed in September that the two got back together after spending the lockdown with their daughter, True.

"It is always a worry that Tristan can go back to his old ways, especially once he’s on the road and working again, but they have spent so much time trying to heal from past wrongdoings, so this isn’t her main focus at this point," a source told Us Weekly.

"She wants to move on and eliminate that chapter from their lives, but not forget about it at the same time.”

However, in an episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Khloe revealed that they don’t sleep together in a video call with her best friend Malika Haqq. Khloe also shared she wasn’t sure about pursuing their relationship.

Haqq told Khloe that maybe she was blocking her feelings because it was safe to do so. Khloe’s BFF also reminded her that maybe she was not open to being loved again, which she then admitted.

"I have every reason to have these bricks up and layers and if somebody cares enough, they will take those bricks down brick by brick,” Khloe said.
