Kim Kardashian is trying to "set healthy boundaries" with her ex Kanye West, according to a report.

An unnamed source told People that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum, 41, is upset over her estranged husband's claims about their co-parenting situation in his "Hollywood Unlocked" interview that is set to be released Monday.

The 44-year-old rapper — who now goes by Ye — claimed in a preview of his interview with Jason Lee that he once had a dispute with Kardashian's security team while picking up the couple's children from school. The Grammy winner alleged that security wouldn't allow him into his estranged wife's home with their 8-year-old daughter North.

An anonymous source close to the Skims founder told People that many of West's claims during the interview were "false," but it was true that he was "not allowed inside" Kardashian's home that day. However, security "didn't stop him from seeing the kids, picking them up or dropping them off," the insider added.

"He just can no longer walk inside her home without her permission," the source said, adding that the mom-of-four "has a right to privacy and is trying to set healthy boundaries."

Kardashian, who filed for divorce in February 2021, reportedly realized that defining boundaries was "necessary" after "several incidents" in which West upset her family, friends and staff with his alleged "unannounced visits," the insider added.

The reality star — who also shares daughter Chicago, 4, and sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 2, with West — "only wants to protect her children and ensure they have a great relationship with both parents" amid the former couple's ongoing divorce, according to the source.

"Kim wants the children to have a strong relationship with both parents and for him to respect the boundaries and structure she has put in place for them to have some predictability and consistency with their schedule," the source added.

Kardashian found it "upsetting" that West chose to discuss their family affairs in an interview, the insider said.

In his "Hollywood Unlocked" interview, West also explained why he purchased a $4.5 million house across his ex's mansion in Hidden Hills, California. The rapper said he only wanted to be close to his children as he knew how it felt to have no father figure around.

"Nothing with my career, with this rap, with this media, with none of that, that's gonna keep me from my children," he said. "And that's what I want everybody to know."

West added, "Don't play with me, don't play with my children. Ain't no security gonna get in between me and my children and you ain't gonna gaslight me."
