Some people are blessed with great organizational skills, while others are completely hopeless. For those who fall in the latter category, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kourtney Kardashian has some great tips on how they can keep their closets spick and span.

The first tip Kardashian shared is to have lots of hangers. “It’s hard to truly organize your closet if you run out of hangers,” she revealed on her website. “I stock up on super slim velvet hangers before I do a big clean. I always use the same color of hangers so everything looks uniform. In my closet, all the hangers are black velvet and the kids’ closets have beige velvet ones.”

Kardashian is also very particular about her drawers, so she sections her drawers to separate her underwear, jewelry, t-shirts, and even sunglasses. “I personally like simple linen or velvet dividers, so they don’t scratch sunglasses or jewelry and won’t snag lingerie made of lace or silk,” she said.

And lastly, Kardashian does not like to hoard stuff that she has no use for. Whatever she doesn’t need, she donates to charity. “I always donate a ton of clothes and shoes after a clean-out. Those giant reusable bags from Ikea are super strong and perfect for holding the giveaway pile when you’re doing a big clean-out. I am big on sustainability, so we often reuse shopping bags, as well,” she said.

Kardashian split up with her former husband, Scott Disick, back in 2015. However, they remain on good terms as co-parents of their three children.

Disick earlier told People that things are going really well for their family, so he’d rather not say anything that might jinx their good relationship. He shared, “We never had any negativity between us and we made a very smooth transition into the way we live, and luckily, thank God, we’re able to see one another and still be with our children and, knock on wood, that we have that. Thank God we have that and everyone is somewhat happy and it seems to work. It’s not broke, so don’t fix it.”
