After two years of dating, Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer are engaged, the BAFTA award-winning actress announced Tuesday.

"We're marrying, we're totally gonna do it," The "Spencer" star said on SiriusXM's "The Howard Stern Show," revealing that Meyer was the one who proposed. "I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted, and she nailed it. We're marrying, it's happening."

The "Twilight" actress, 31, says that she and Meyer first met eight years ago on a movie set, but they reconnected six years later and started dating. They were first seen publicly together in August 2019, kissing on a New York City stoop after Stewart’s split from model Stella Maxwell. The couple did not make it official until an Instagram post on Meyer’s page in October 2019 and the "Charlie’s Angel's" star said that she was ready to propose to Meyer by that November.

Meyer is a writer who has written for TV shows and films like "Moxie," "XOXO," "Miss 2059," and "Rock Bottom," thought she has also produced, directed and starred in productions as well, according to her IMDb. Among her acting roles was an episode of "Homemade," with her now-fiancée.

Rumors were sparked online in July 2021 that the couple was engaged when they were seen out walking with rings on their left fingers, but those rumors were never confirmed. The couple spent all of the quarantine together and have now made their engagement official.
