Although Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have yet to publicly comment on their relationship, the two have interacted and shown one another love across various social media platforms with the help of one recurring theme--a butterfly. Despite the beauty of the insect and the sentimental meaning it holds in her relationship, the reality star admitted that she is fearful of the creature.

During a preview of an upcoming episode of “Life of Kylie,” the star visited a zoo, where she opened up about her true feelings concerning butterflies.

“It’s kind of just ironic because I’m terrified, terrified of butterflies. All butterflies. This is how I think of them: cut the wings off and if you just look at their bodies, they’re not that pretty. It’s literally a bug,” Jenner explained in the clip.

While touring the butterfly house at the London Zoo, Jenner remained on guard and did her best to avoid the flying insects, even though one of the employees told her that the butterflies weren’t dangerous. “I’m scared if one lands on me!” she said, while dodging them.

“Butterflies are just part of the secrets of Kylie,” she later says in the video.

Jenner’s dislike of butterflies is a bit ironic, seeing as she and Scott use it as a term of endearment in their relationship.

In the past, Scott has referred to Jenner as a butterfly, at times using the emoji to share subtle social media posts about the Kylie Cosmetics owner.

In May, the rapper shared a photo on Instagram of himself and Jenner getting off of a private plane and referenced the insect. “Butterfly Effect,” he captioned the photo, along with several butterfly emojis.

Almost a month later, the two revealed that they had gotten matching butterfly tattoos. Jenner was the first to share her new ink, with the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star posting a photo on Snapchat of a small butterfly on the back of her leg.

Hours later, the “Goosebumps” rapper shared a photo of the back of his own leg with the same tattoo. Fast forward to Jenner’s 20th birthday on August 10, Scott gifted Jenner with a $60,000 butterfly necklace, which featured 28 carats of VVS diamonds.

The rapper, who has been dating Jenner since April, reportedly contacted jeweler Elliot Avianne prior to the star’s special day to make sure the necklace would be ready in time. Scott’s gift to Jenner was inspired by his single “Butterfly Effect.”

The rapper helped celebrate Jenner‘s birthday alongside her family, and sources told People that the famous brood “loves Travis,” after attending her birthday festivities.

“Kylie and Travis are doing great. Things are so different from Tyga,” an insider revealed.

“There is no drama with Travis. He is a cool guy. He treats Kylie with a lot of respect and love. Kylie is very happy,” the source added.

Jenner and Tyga dated off and on since the lip kit maven was 17 years old. The former couple is rumored to have split in late 2016 after she ended the romance. However, it is clear it didn’t take the star too long to find love again.
