For many, Labor Day marks the last hurrah of summer -- cue the sighs -- so take the long weekend to enjoy the poetry that is street fair food, outdoor concerts and art festivals. There's a full calendar of New York City events to say your goodbyes to the season.

Some of the categories this year include “Worst in Show” and the “Ballyhoo Beard” (Best Styled Beard). There’s sure to be a lot of beard stroking and moustache tweaking.
