Lamar Odom has candidly spoken about ex-wife Khloe Kardashian’s kind gesture after he was found unconscious at a Las Vegas brothel back in October 2015. According to the former NBA player, what the reality TV star did was an act of true love.

On Wednesday, Odom stopped by “The Wendy Williams Show” to talk about his road to recovery after his coma. During his interview, he was asked if Kardashian had been there by his side during the harrowing experience. Odom then revealed that Kim Kardashian’s sister was indeed there for him. “She held me down at the time,” Odom told host Wendy Williams.

He added that he believes what drove his ex to support him throughout the ordeal was real love for there were no cameras filming what she did for him back then.

Odom also opened up about how he felt upon hearing that Kardashian “fake tried” to get pregnant with him during their married life together. The 37-year-old said that that hurt him a little bit, before saying that he probably was not ready to be a father at the time. Odom added that Kardashian shouldn’t have said it on TV and he wished that she could have told him about it herself.

Earlier this month, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star dropped a bombshell in an episode of the reality series when she divulged that she did not seriously try to get pregnant with her ex. “I fake tried. I was married but I knew the circumstances weren’t the healthiest, so I just kept pretending I was doing it,” Kardashian said in the episode when she and sister Kim visited a fertility doctor, as per Daily Mail.

After addressing Kardashian’s revelation in his latest interview, Odom said that he is not considering the idea of rekindling his romance with his ex-wife. He maintained that it’s for the best that they keep their distance from each other from now on.

On Kardashian’s new love interest Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson, Odom only has this to say: “They seem happy together. Good for them.”

Kardashian and Odom tied the knot in 2009. They officially ended their relationship four years later, but Kardashian delayed finalizing their divorce. It was only finalized last December, months after Kardashian refiled it in May 2016, according to Us Weekly.
