The 33-year-old actress and the 37-year-old entrepreneur have always wanted to become parents, according to a source who told People.

Michele and Reich tied the knot in March 2019 in Northern California. The said news outlet reported that the ceremony was attended by over 200 family members and close friends, including Michele’s “Glee” co-stars Darren Criss and Becca Tobin.

Before Michele’s romantic involvement with Reich, she previously dated “iZombie” actor Robert Buckley and Personal Development Coach, Matthew Paetz; however, the most notable partner Michele was previously linked to was her “Glee” co-star, Cory Monteith.

Prior to Michele’s pregnancy, she opened up about her struggles with polycystic ovary syndrome or more commonly known as PCOS, that she knew nothing of when she was in her teens. Michele revealed in an interview with Health magazine that she suffered from having bad skin and had to take birth control as a remedy, Good Morning America reported.

A realization hit her when she was in her late 20s. Michele reportedly decided to rid her body of all the medications, and when she did, the unpleasant physical symptoms came back —the bad skin, and during the time, weight gain. Eventually, she was diagnosed with PCOS.

PCOS is a condition characterized by irregular menstrual periods, cysts on the ovaries, infertility, weight gain, acne, excessive face, and body hair, thinning or balding head hair and insulin resistance. The hormonal imbalance (ovaries produce more male hormones), the syndrome can affect a woman’s menstrual cycle, fertility and physical appearance, according to Pregnancy Birth and Baby site.

A woman with PCOS may struggle to get pregnant because of the high levels of male hormones that prevent the release of an egg. The news site further reported that some women who struggle getting pregnant found they have PCOS; hence, consulting a doctor and receiving a firm diagnosis is vital.

Considering that Michele has this condition, being pregnant is already a precious gift to the couple. Details of Michele’s pregnancy are yet to unfold, but for now, this good news something the couple and their fans are happy about.

Congratulations to Michele and Reich!
