Susie Abromeit is set to guest star in Season 3 of The CW’s “Legends of Tomorrow.”

According to TVLine, Abromeit will appear as Ray Palmer’s (Brandon Routh) mom in episode 4 of the upcoming season.

Abromeit, who recently recurred on NBC’s “Chicago Med” and Netflix’s “Jessica Jones,” first teased her appearance on the superhero team-up series on Instagram where she shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself rocking the ‘80s look.

As revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con last month, Season 3, episode 4, titled “Phone Home,” will see the Legends travel to the 1980s to investigate Ray’s childhood.

On Thursday, Routh took to Instagram to share a photo of him riding what appears to be a replica of the DeLorean time machine featured in the ‘80s “Back to the Future” film series. The caption of the photo suggests that the Legends will get to see how Ray celebrated Halloween when he was younger.

It was also reported over the summer that in addition to Ray’s mom, there is a very good chance that Ray’s brother Sydney (also to be played by Routh) will appear next season as well.

Although Sydney has yet to appear on the show in the flesh, the character already made an appearance as a bust in Season 1, episode 10. In the episode, it was revealed that after Ray joined the Legends, Sydney acquired his brother’s technology and continued his work in robot engineering, becoming known as the father of the robotics industry by 2147.

Ray theorized that Sydney worked for Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) at Palmer Technologies and at some point obtained Ray’s A.T.O.M. exosuit technology, which he claimed as his own and later sold to the military.

Abromeit is the latest addition to the growing list of newcomers to Season 3 of “Legends of Tomorrow. Other previously announced new cast members include Tala Ashe (“American Odyssey”) as Muslim hacktivist Zari Adrianna Tomaz, Billy Zane (“Titanic”) as iconic showman P.T. Barnum, Tracy Ifeachor (“The Originals”) as Amaya’s (Maisie Richardson-Seller) granddaughter Kuasa, Jes Macallan (“Mistresses”) as Time Bureau special agent Ava Sharpe, Simon Merrells (“Spartacus”) as Julius Caesar and Richardson-Sellers’ real-life mom, Joy Richardson (“Holby City”), as a mysterious woman from Amaya’s past.

“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 3 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
