It looks like Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell) will finally have his well-deserved R&R in Season 3 premiere of “Legends of Tomorrow.”

Purcell was spotted filming scenes for Season 3, episode 1, titled “Aruba-Con,” on Vancouver’s Jericho Beach on Wednesday, July 19. In a photo taken by HollywoodNorth.buzz, Purcell’s Mick, aka Heat Wave, is seemingly relaxing on a beach bench with a glass of drink by his side. There were also a couple of horses seen on the outdoor set, giving the location a South Caribbean vibe.

Although not photographed on set, it seemed like Purcell’s co-star, Caity Lotz, also filmed some scenes on Jericho Beach. In a tweet on Wednesday, Lotz — who plays Sara Lance/White Canary on the CW series — wrote that she’s “rolling around in the sand beating up a historical figure” on set.

Aruba was first mentioned on the show in the Season 2 premiere. In the episode, Gideon (voiced by Amy Pemberton) told the Legends that the next time aberration would likely take place in Bhopal 1912, to which Mick disappointingly responded, “Why can’t it be Aruba 2016?”

The country was again mentioned at the end of the Season 2 finale. After the Legends successfully de-powered the Spear of Destiny and erased Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) from existence, the team took off to Aruba 2017. But their plan for a much needed vacation fell apart when a time storm ripped them from the time stream and deposited them in Los Angeles 2017, which was shockingly overrun by dinosaurs and sprinkled with futuristic buildings. Apparently, after interacting with their future selves in the Season 2 finale, the Legends broke time itself, and that’s what they’re going to remedy in the upcoming season.

More details about Season 3 are expected to be revealed at the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday, July 22. Purcell, Lotz, Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom), Victor Garber (Martin Stein/one-half of Firestorm), Franz Drameh (Jax Jackson/one-half of Firestorm), Nick Zano (Nate Heywood/Steel) and Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Amaya Jiwe/Vixen) will all be present during the panel.

“Legends of Tomorrow” Season 3 will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
