Some of the best celebrity moments from the Academy Awards are the ones that are often left off of the camera. Like much of the world, star-powered best friends Ariana Grande and Liz Gillies were watching the Oscars and sharing their thoughts via Twitter.

When Diane Keaton and Keanu Reeves took to the stage on Sunday to present the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, one fan was quick to point out the similarities between Keaton and Gillies. Gillies, who has amassed a fashion-forward fan base from her starring role as Fallon Carrington in the CW’s “Dynasty,” is often seen adorned in colorful trench coats and wide-brimmed hats on the show, similar to Keaton's outfit at the Oscars. Gillies' sense of humor is adored by fans, much like Keaton’s.

It seems Gillies was already one step ahead of the fan, revealing that she and Grande had been texting about Keaton for the past 20 minutes, and ending with “we’re inviting her to brunch.”

Grande then Tweeted her own excitement surrounding the conversation, replying to Gillies’s Tweet and posting a screenshot of some of the text messages.

Grande and Gillies have been friends since their early teenage years when they both starred in the Broadway musical “13.” The two later sang and acted in Nickelodeon’s “Victorious” and have assured fans of their continued friendship by posting reunion photos and videos every chance they are together. Grande even brought Gillies onstage to perform a duet during an Atlanta concert as part of the “Sweetener” tour.

If Keaton responds it seems this duo might become a trio.
