“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Stevie J has revealed will be doing some time behind bars. Stevie didn’t say how long he will be in jail, but took to Instagram to explain why he has to go away for a little while.

In a post Thursday night, Stevie wrote that he will be turning himself in next week because of an ongoing child support case. “Not playing no games. No fakes no phonies real n----- only,” he captioned a picture of him wearing a suit and sitting on a staircase. “Shout out to my reals ones [sic] locked up. #freefaceoff #freecoreyjacobs #freeloon #freedevaloso #Freelenlo bout to do this time starting next week, sum thing light for this child support case. My kids love me & I love them & that’s all that matters.”

According to BET, Stevie (real name Steven Jordan) was recently in court over a child support case between him and his ex, Carol A Bennett. The VH1 star ranted about the case last week on Instagram, writing that it was “frivolous.” He wrote: “2 years after I had this case dismissed in State court May 21st 2014 it’s a discrace [sic] to US Federal Court & a blatant waste of NY tax payers dollars. Haven’t lived in NYC since 2000 & my kids nor the mother of the children reside on NYC. This case is frivolous. So many important cases waiting to see the Honorable Judge Crotty than for this circus that is being portrayed. Time for me to make noise!” Stevie eventually deleted the post.

The outlet reported that Stevie and Bennett have been battling each other since 2014, when he was ordered to court because he supposedly owed over $1 million in back child support. Court documents revealed that Stevie only paid Bennett, with whom he shares two kids, $132,220 over the course of 14 years.

In May, Stevie opened up about his legal drama telling Bossip that he thought the child support case was “bulls---“ but was glad his children were not letting it get in the way of their relationship. “It is what it is, I understand the prosecutors are doing their job, but I’m a great father and I take care of my kids,” he said. “I’m happy that my kids won’t let this case affect our relationship. They were with me all weekend, with their mom.”

On Season 5 of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” fans watched as Joseline Hernandez, who claims she’s pregnant with Stevie’s baby, tried to convince Mimi Faust to put the music producer on child support. Mimi and Stevie have a daughter named Eva together. Mimi was hesitant to take Stevie to court for child support, but eventually did.
