“Lucifer” Season 2 cast members Tom Ellis and Lauren German are nominated at the 2017 People’s Choice Awards.

The lead actor is nominated in the Favorite Crime TV Actor category, while his onscreen partner is nominated for Favorite Crime TV Actress. As of late, the list of nominees for both categories hasn’t been finalized. Viewers can vote up to five times until only a handful of actors and actresses are left to choose from. Other nominees up against Ellis include “Scorpion” actor Elyes Gabel, “Shades of Blue” star Ray Liotta, Chris O’Donnell, James Spades, LL Cool J, Scott Bakula, Donnie Wahlberg, Mark Harmon, Joe Mantegna, Tom Selleck, Morris Chestnut, Gary Sinse, Johnny Lee Miller and more.

German, on the other hand, is up against the likes of “Blindspot” lead star Jaimie Alexander, “Scorpion” actress Katharine McPhee, “Shades of Blue” star Jennifer Lopez, Alana De La Garza, Megan Boone, Pauley Perrette, Sophia Bush, Daniela Ruah, Lucy Liu, Juliette Lewis, Mariska Hargitay, CCH Pounder and Kirsten Vangsness.

Meanwhile, “Lucifer” is also one of the nominees in the Favorite TV Crime Drama category. The FOX series is competing against “Blindspot,” “Scorpion,” “Shades of Blue,” “The Blacklist,” “Criminal Minds,” “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders,” “NCIS,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “NCIS: New Orleans,” “Blue Bloods,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “Chicago P.D.,” “Rosewood” and “Secrets and Lies.”

The final list of nominees will be revealed on the official website for next year’s award ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

In other news, “Lucifer” Season 2 will release its seventh episode on Monday, Nov. 7. “My Little Monkey” will see Chloe (German) going in search for the person who killed her father. Previously, she discovered that the man convicted for her father’s murder was framed.

“Lucifer” Season 2, episode 7 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
