Maci Bookout got positive feedback from “Teen Mom” viewers when she announced her pregnancy with boyfriend Taylor McKinney last month. Thankfully for the 23-year-old MTV reality star, her ex-boyfriend, Ryan Edwards, with whom she shares son Bentley, 6, is also on board with her plans to have another child.

Despite having a rocky relationship on the past four seasons of “Teen Mom,” the Ashley’s Reality Roundup reports that Ryan, 26, is “very happy” about Maci’s second pregnancy. “[They’re] getting along better than ever. … He is very happy for her baby news and has been completely supportive,” an administrator who runs Maci’s official Facebook page recently posted, according to the site.

How did the exes repair their bond? It was reportedly time away from the cameras that gave the reality-TV co-stars and co-parents time to solve their issues. “Taking some time off from filming constantly gave them a needed relaxing break and helped them gain perspective,” added the administrator.

Maci and Ryan broke off their relationship (and short-lived engagement) on the premiere episode of MTV’s “16 and Pregnant" in 2009. They continued their on-again, off-again romance throughout the four seasons of “Teen Mom.” In 2013, while the program was on hiatus, Maci developed a relationship with McKinney.

Amid filming for “Teen Mom” Season 5, Maci announced to InTouch in December that she was expecting her second child, this time with McKinney, 25. The baby will be the first for the motocross racer who relocated from Texas to Tennessee to live with Maci and Bentley in May.

“I knew my chances of getting pregnant were very low. … This baby is such a blessing,” Maci, who suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome, told the magazine. “I’m calling her my miracle baby.”

At the time of her announcement, Maci was 16 weeks along. She also confirmed to the magazine that she's expecting a girl. “I don’t know how!” Maci told InTouch via the Daily Mail when asked about her plans to raise her daughter. “Plus, I’m not a big fan of pink stuff," she added.

Maci is due in June. Season 5 of “Teen Mom” is expected to premiere on MTV in early 2015.
